Not your ordinary Makeup artist...
I am a strong believer in come as a client leave as a friend.
In addition to my work as a Pro makeup artist , I'am a certified technician in micro-pigmentation also known as Cosmetic Tattooing. Approved by Florida department of health. Fully licensed with all permits required. Current on all annual "Blood Borne Pathogen's" training. Proudly listed on Softaps.com official site for Pro Technicians.
My Ancestors come from the kingdom of Tonga.
Perched just east of the international dateline in the South Pacific "where time begins."
Growing up with five sisters are my earliest memories of makeup.
As I grew older I loved experimenting with different cosmetics.
Including the popular ‘smokey eye’ look.
Which I taught myself off the back of a Maybelline eyeshadow quad at age 16.
In the mid 90's Hawaii is where I was introduced to the art of skin, I was hooked!
Events led me to places on Oahu, Las Vegas and now Tampa bay, Florida.
I trained and apprenticed under the direction of Niven Kanaan of Softap Permanent Cosmetics. I chose the SofTap
method because of how similar the results look to regular make-up. I am a perfectionist and the ability to completely control the process for your safety and perfect application was my biggest priority in choosing a method to use.
In conventional cosmetics, I completed a course in Makeup Artistry under celebrity makeup artist Sy Clark, of Las Vegas. "The Art of Makeup" through The College of Southern Nevada in 2010. Since then I have worked with clients wanting evening and glamour makeup for engagement parties, birthdays, photo-shoots and other special occasions. Currently I am freelancing makeup for Leticia Larcher Photography in Tampa Bay , Florida.
My reputation always has been the incredible results you will receive from your time with me. Word of mouth has brought me much success and I protect that credibility with every cosmetic application I perform.
As a conventional makeup artist it is in my meticulous attention to detail. I apply makeup the way I would like it applied to me; blending every line and ensuring even skin tone and flawless coverage. I listen to what my clients want, enhancing the makeup style they are most comfortable with, as well as offering advice and ideas for the type and style of event they are attending.
Happily married my high school sweetheart. A mother of four, I'am already looking forward to the day I can start teaching my 3 young girls how to apply beautiful age-appropriate makeup.
